Starcrossed City Review:
When reading the Starcrossed series everyone was always wondering what really happened with Daphne and Ajax, neither of them would spill. Was it Daphne who killed him or did she truly love him. All the questions were supposed to be answered in this book. Unfortunately, they weren't because she is writing the story while publishing chapter by chapter. She is still on chapter one so this might take a long time. I expected this series to be like a repeat of what Helen and Lucas went through but it's different even from the start. It seems Ajax already knows about Daphne before they even meet and that the Fates are still a big part in this book. Daphne’s struggles with her power are so much like Helen that you could think they were almost the same people. It was just that Daphne handled it differently. I loved this book when I expected it not be that good. Everyone should give it a try and you don't need to read any of the other books to read this book. Goddess Review:
Goddess was a really good conclusion for this thrilling series. The war eminent war on between the gods and scions is bringing the tension all the way up. The little group of scions and mortals and breaking up their group and picking sides mainly because of the threat who everyone thinks is Orion.

Unfortunately, to make matters worse, Helen is gaining her powers and can't seem to control the power or her emotions and that is causing people to back away from her. Her almost killing a bunch of people and hiding a bunch of important secrets also does not help matters. But there is a good side. Every person seems to get into a relationship; it might not always turn out good, but everyone get s a few moments of happiness. There is a lot more battles in this novel mainly because the gods are now out of Olympus thanks to Helen, Lucas and Orion.

Helen is has become more of a strong character but is kind of annoying because she makes a lot of choices that could have been different. Otherwise she was a really good character and has become a lot more serious and mature since the first book. This book shows what tension can do to a person and is a lot more realistic than other books, but also the consequences of doing the right thing. Hades is a VERY important character in this book and I’m really happy about this. He finally shows his face and you learn how he is connected to all the characters. Hecate makes an appearance in this novel and that leads to some serious stuff and will give you heart attacks.

It's incredible how some of the fights, resembles the exact fights that happened in the Trojan War. Also, you get a history lesson on the Trojan War to see what happened if you didn't know. It had a really good ending that did make you said because of all the choices people made, but I was waiting for something to really happen like a lot more people dying or not getting what they want. Not in an emo way, just a bit more excitement. But it was a really good ending and a great way to end of such a series. I am very sad this series is over but there is supposed to be short story still in the writing so I'm waiting on that.

Dreamless(Starcrossed #2)

Dreamless Summary:
Dreamless continues the story of Helen Hamilton, a shy girl living on Nantucket Island whose desire for an ordinary life was thwarted when she discovered she is a Scion, a descendant of a Greek god and a mortal. Each Scion has a power, and Helen’s is the ability to travel to Hades. Helen is determined to use her talent to stop a war amongst the gods and change her destiny, which is to live a life patterned after that of the tragic Helen of Troy. But her quest may cost her Lucas Delios, the boy she loves.

Dreamless Review:
Dreamless was a great book. I liked it better than the first because they book expands more onto the gods and the history of the some of the characters. Also a bunch of characters are introduced. A love triangle starts to form, which I think would have been annoying because so many of those exist, but it actually made the story better. Like every Greek story there is always a prophecy and hers, in a quick summary, is that when all the houses of scions are connected there will be a war. And with all the new characters you see how this is possible. It adds to all this tension and suspense that seems to be slowly dragging through the book making you waiting for the bomb at the end of the novel. Some of the most hated people are now people that are trusted and make huge sacrifices with the added pain of characters like Hector who can't even look at his family.

There is a lot more romance in this novel and you can't help but feel sad for Helena and Lucas because of them thinking they are cousins. If you weren't aware they were cousins read the first book again because they tell you in the first book, so you should read the first book. Also the gods play a much bigger part on this novel. Helen gets to totally kick butt in this book because she really can hold herself up against a god.

Also HADES is in this, and of course he's the only good god in this novel. You kinda already expected this. Persephone is not like in the Percy Jackson series and actually likes Hades and is positive about her situation. I liked to watch each of the characters struggle with their own demons and try to make something of themselves of what they should do. The end of course was a bomb; it wouldn’t be one of my favourite books if it didn’t have that. You will have fun reading this book but don't read it because you will not get it if you have not read the first book. The series is getting a lot more epicer and the next book will be the last in the series.

Starcrossed Review:
When I first started this book I was really confused at what was going in this book. The main characters suddenly hate each other and it was just weird. As the story progressed though it got a lot better and I fell in love with the characters. I don't think the story could have been anymore cooler.

This might be a spoiler: this book had a totally different way of looking at the book which I thought was really cool(Greek gods and Demi gods). I was a bit curious how only 4 of the gods were mentioned though. I was missing Hades. The gods unlike in the other series were pure evil and were meant to be trapped on Mount Olympus. The gods weren't playing a very big part of this novel.

I found it kinda creepy and interesting how the people in each line have the exact same face as the people they are named after and the god they are related to. The Fates are different because they are spirits that cry tears of blood and the furies are not better. The characters that we think of as weak suddenly turn out to be strong and make the decisions that could have ended up saving other people's lives. The idea that new scions (demigods) will repeat history like their predecessors. This means that Helen and Lucas will repeat the history that was the Trojan War. Helen's mom also makes a surprise appearance and that brings in some very serious results that were catastrophic. Lucas's cousin, Hector is just like Paris's brother back in Troy and seems to hate Helen for all she's worth, while Helen has to hide all this from her best friends. And some are starting to get suspicious so it adds suspense. The characters were different and you could feel the history between the characters. Overall the book was really good and I the other books are supposed to be even better.

The Eternity Cure Review:

After waiting months to read this book I had finally got a hand on this book. It was everything I expected from this author and I couldn't believe what I got it. This series is officially my third favourite series. The beginning was pretty slow but it was still pretty good. There is a huge time gape between the first and second book but it doesn't matter because the story starts during the time period of the book anyway so it’s fine. The main characters from the first book come back into The Eternity Cure and it gets really epic and the story just turns awesome.

Blood brother and sister Allie and Jackal become a lot closer, still ready to kill each other if they came to it, yet they still have each other’s backs. Almost all the characters seem to a show a more vulnerable side to them and Allie makes a lot of big decisions in this book that cause people lives to hang in the balance. Allie doesn't always realize what her actions will cause to happen so I feel sad about that.

There is a huge twist at the end of the book and I feel like ripping the book apart because of that and that fact there is this huge cliff hanger at the end of the book. I'm hoping that something good is going to happen because of that cliff-hanger to the character that was part of that cliff-hanger. Not spoiling anything for you people who haven't read it yet.

Allie turns into a monster at the end of the book and I'm happy about this because she might need this to succeed with one of the promises she made in the back and to fight back her demons that will follow her. I still want the old Allie back but I'm ready for this one. Jackal is his witty self as usual but less evil, which I kinda missed. He turns out to be really smart in this book and is a character that I love and hope to see more of. Kanin is definitely weaker in this novel and more aloof. He definitely goes through a serious weak point in The Eternity Cure. He is no longer the mentor from the previous book but he is still giving out lessons and wise beyond his years. Zeke is a lot tougher but he is still the sweetheart from the first book. You can definitely see a difference in him. All the characters are different and have grown. The characters will have definitely grown in the next book and I hope it will be even more epic. Going to have to wait so long for the next book its killing me. And no spoilers yet. Not even a cover.
